Outlook2CRM version 1.3.8 has been released. This new release includes some critical fixes, but also has some exciting new features!

One of the most exciting new features is the new built-in ability to mark an e-mail as "filed" and also as "complete" in Outlook when an Outlook2CRM button is used on an e-mail. The Outlook2CRM development blog had some posts a while back about adding this via customization, however, this is now a built-in and configurable part of Outlook2CRM - all done via the Toolbar Editor and without code. This is configurable on a per-button basis (and can also be turned off for a button).

Another feature that was suggested by an Outlook2CRM customer and business partner is the ability to optionally select only specific attachments to include in SalesLogix (instead of including all, which is how this was before). Note that this new dialog is not yet used for ticket attachments (but this will change in the next release).

One of the most anticipated fixes reported by a few Outlook2CRM customers is a fix for an issue that would cause Word or Excel to crash on machines with Outlook2CRM installed when the File | Send as E-mail menu option was used to send the spreadsheet or document as an e-mail.
